They cater to both ceremonies and receptions in any of their various rooms.

The staff at The Listening Room Cafe customizes each event in order to ensure every client’s satisfaction, so they have no set wedding packages. The Boiler Room is ideally suited for smaller gatherings. Additionally, the patio makes for a romantic outdoor location. The tables and chairs can be moved to make room for a dance floor, so your guests can dance to any type of entertainment you choose. TLR, with a maximum capacity of 450, is perfect for weddings with a live band or musician, as this is where their large stage is. The restaurant opens with the front bar, one of the event spaces that can be rented for smaller celebrations or in conjunction with the venue’s main space, The Listening Room. Chris designed the space to highlight some of the building’s historic features, like keeping the old boiler in its original space in the venue’s Boiler Room. Originally a dealership of agricultural machinery, the building retains elements of its open-plan warehouse atmosphere. The International Harvester Building boasts 11,500 square feet of space, double the size of the previous location. They moved to this location in 2017, and over 7,000 local musicians and international stars alike have graced their stage since then. Chris then moved the business into the former International Harvester Building, where it operates today. There, they established their reputation as one of the city’s premier live music venues. He moved the cafe into the Cummins Station building in downtown Nashville in 2008. While the venue enjoyed popularity at the Franklin location, Chris wanted to bring musicians closer to Nashville’s Music Row. Originally founded in Franklin, TN by singer-songwriter Chris Blair, the venue was intended to give local musicians the creative outlet they craved. The venue’s historic building encompasses the charm of Music City and makes for an iconic Nashville wedding. Situated in Nashville’s bustling south of Broadway (SoBro) neighborhood, the venue is at the center of the city’s music and entertainment district. The Listening Room Cafe is a live music and event venue in Nashville, TN.
